Because diverse people, perspectives and ideas create an optimal learning and working environment, The University of Texas at Austin strives to enrich and foster an inclusive, accessible and welcoming campus culture through programs, initiatives and events that reflect cultural and intellectual diversity. 

DDCE cultivates an inclusive campus culture that actively and intentionally engages diverse people, ideas, and perspectives to create a vibrant learning and working environment. DDCE accomplishes this by sustaining and advancing efforts to develop a pervasive culture of inclusion in all facets of life at The University of Texas at Austin. By breaking down barriers and challenging injustices, DDCE transforms campus culture to one in which all individuals draw strength from the university’s collective diversity. This transformation fosters success and a greater sense of belonging and respect.
Campus Climate Response Team is university-wide team that develops and facilitates the implementation of appropriate responses to campus climate incidents impacting the UT-Austin community.
Diversity Education Initiatives promotes learning that critically examines multiple identities and perspectives to foster a climate of inclusive excellence at The University of Texas at Austin and surrounding communities.
Gender and Sexuality Center provides safe spaces for all members of the UT Austin community to explore, organize, and promote learning around issues of gender and sexuality.
Multicultural Engagement Center is a student resource office that educates and empowers students to be leaders and agents of social change. Through activities and education, MEC supports a culturally diverse campus and helps cultivate a positive campus climate.
Services for Students with Disabilities works to eliminate physical, instructional and attitudinal barriers by providing reasonable accommodations and fostering awareness within the UT Austin community.
Strategic Initiatives supports and enhances an equitable campus culture at The University of Texas at Austin by engaging in divisional strategic planning, campus diversity planning, campus climate incident response, diversity education, research and special projects.
Student Org Funding supports diversity-related programming sponsored by official student organizations on campus.
The Office of Institutional Equity supports the establishment and maintenance of a nondiscriminatory work environment at UT Austin.
